SXSW: March 17 2015
Convergence Day—the last day of SXSW Interactive, the first day of SXSW Music, and a continuation of SXSW Film—was made every crazier by St. Patrick’s Day partiers. A VERY full day!
SXSW: March 16 2015
My SXSW Day 4 was an eclectic variety of celebrity, tech futures, transportation, travel, and food sessions. No movies for me today, which meant that I got to eat both lunch and dinner for a change.
SXSW: March 15 2015
Today was another SXSW Interactive day for me, with one film thrown in for good measure. I didn’t see much of Bill, but I believe he did the exact opposite and attended mostly movies. I also wandered down a few aisles of the huge trade show that opened today. But it’s been a long day, so perhaps I’ll write about that another time…

It’s another beautiful day in the SXSW neighborhood. The city and the conference are really crowded now. I didn’t get to as many sessions today due to several factors: I was still tired from yesterday, I took time to eat real meals, and I attended two Film events, each lasting about two hours.

Today was the last day of South by Southwest. So many bands to see, so little time! I also made a quick visit to the Flatstock (band poster) show in the Austin Convention Center. I won’t bore you with a list of everyone we saw, but here are a few highlights…
SxSW: March 14 2014
Perfect festival weather brought the throngs to SxSW Music today. Bill and I crisscrossed Austin: Whole Foods HQ area, Austin Convention Center, Rainey Street, East Austin, 2nd Street District, Butler Park, Rainey Street, and Warehouse District. We didn’t track the distance, but probably walked over ten miles. Here’s a few highlights of the day…
SxSW: March 13 2014
We woke up on Thursday morning to the sad news about the hit-and-run accident outside the Mohawk on Red River. Throughout the day, many of the performers observed a moment of silence for the victims. I did not go over that way, but I hear that an impromptu memorial has been set up.
