Over 100,000 people are expected to attend Austin’s 40th annual Fourth of July celebration. An outdoor concert by the Austin Symphony starts at 8:30 PM, followed by fireworks over Lady Bird Lake. Preparations are underway…
A large stage is set up in front of the Long Center.
Temporary fencing surrounds the fireworks launch area.
Loudspeakers are ready to blast downtown.
Porta-potties are in position.
And the first picnic blanket was sighted at 11:30 AM!
