ACL Fest – Day 2: 2016

jc20161008_5392The weather was warm and sunny for Day 2 of Weekend 2 for the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Afternoon highs reached about 90°—still hot enough to drain your energy and require a mid-afternoon milkshake from Amy’s Ice Cream. Bill and I wondered how we had survived those 100°+ days in past years.

For a Saturday afternoon, the festival grounds did not feel very crowded at all. Where was everyone? Inside the beer hall watching the UT-OU football game, of course!

Since the park was not crowded, Bill and I were able to see lots of groups on Saturday. We especially enjoyed Saint Motel and Bomba Estéreo. Here’s our schedule for day two:
