This year marks the 38th annual A Christmas Affair sponsored by the Junior League of Austin. The theme was “Winter Wonderland.” As usual, a beautifully decorated tree was the centerpiece of the Palmer Events Center.

Over 200 vendor booths offered food, clothing, jewelry, and home decor items for sale. Surrounded by the elegant decorations, seasonal music, and a gazillion female shoppers, I started getting into the holiday spirit and thinking about Christmas gift options. Hmmm…do I know anyone who would like to receive…

…a new bathrobe?

…slippers to go with that new bathrobe?

…a turkey-camo onesie?

…Shwings?

…a religious T-shirt with matching skirt?

…a light-up Santa motorcycle?

…a shower cap?

…a reindeer cowbell?

Well, I’m not saying what I bought. But I bet my friends and family are looking forward to finding out!
