SXSW: March 14 2019

Bill and I officially shifted to SXSW Music time on Thursday: late nights accompanied by sleeping in the next morning. I saw one movie (another documentary), enjoyed yet-another tasty, free lunch, and listened to some great musicians.

The Gift: The Journey of Johnny Cash

This documentary about the life of Johnny Cash was approved by his family and included never-seen footage. SXSW Film Director Janet Pierson introduced the movie. Its premiere earlier was in the week, so no one associated with the film attended this screening.

Canada House

There was quite a lunch spread (with yummy pistachio cookies) at the Canada House, plus folk music by The Small Glories.
