Our neighborhood’s food trailer park was closed earlier this month to make way for a new JW Marriott hotel to be built at the corner of Second and Congress. Construction is scheduled to start in August.

Bill and I were worried. Where would our favorite trailer, Turf ‘n Surf, relocate? Would we never again have those Blackened Shrimp Po’ Boys or Pulled Pork and Mango Tacos that we have come to love?

After a few stress-filled days, we were quite relieved to learn that Turf ‘n Surf has found a new home on Fourth and Congress. The Kebabalicious and Patika Coffeetrailers have also moved to the same general vicinity. We will have to walk an extra two blocks to get our trailer food fix now, but it’s worth every step.
