Austin finally got a little rain yesterday! The cloud cover and rain kept the temperatures cool (80s) for the second day of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Bill and I delayed going over to Zilker Park until around 4 PM…just in time for the second band of showers to come through. So this was my view during the first 30 minutes of Alison Krauss’ performance:
Here’s who we heard at ACL Fest on Saturday, with performers listed under the photos:

Stevie Wonder
Bill and I were really looking forward to Stevie Wonder. We were not disappointed. The arrangements were great, his backup band/singers were outstanding, and his voice hasn’t changed at all. He played most of his hits, including Living for the City, For Once in My Life, Do I Do, Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours, and Superstition. I had only two complaints: 1. He spent too much time playing a not-yet-finished song which his band apparently didn’t know; and 2. He only played a short snippet of my very favorite, Isn’t She Lovely, after introducing his daughter who was one of his backup singers. But otherwise I loved the concert!
